The Market was established by a dedicated group
of members who believed that a locally-owned food store would
make our area a better place to live. The Market opened in
downtown South Royalton in September, 2001.
Our community-owned, full-service grocery store
offers a wide variety of groceries, including conventional
grocery store foods, organic produce, whole foods, healthful
ready-made items, and quality baked goods.
The South Royalton Market is a cooperative –
a not-for-profit business owned and operated by its members.
Although you do not need to be a member to shop at the Market,
