Our Board

The Market is overseen by a Board of Directors. The Board meets at the Market on the 3rd Monday of each month for regular meetings, with special meetings called upon request by at least three directors. All Board meetings are open to members — except when in Executive Session to discuss personnel and other sensitive matters. Current Board committees include Personnel, Budget, and Facilities. Members with an interest in the work of the committees are encouraged to contact the board about volunteering on a committee. The Board is elected by the membership at the Annual Meeting in February each year. Prospective board members must be current Market members/owners in good standing for at least six months as of the date of the Annual Meeting. There is a maximum of nine and minimum of five board members at any time.  Each Board member serves for a term of 2 years. Officers are elected by the Board and serve a limited terms.
