Chocolate in Many Forms

Valentine’s Day is approaching as fast as an Arctic blast … if you need chocolate for this special occasion, we have it in many forms.

  • Demonstration cooking class on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2:00-3:30 pm, with the Market’s chef, Patty White. On the menu is Chocolate Mouse, Chocolate Creme Brulee, and Chocolate-Raspberry Cake. Watch, ask questions, and sample! Sign up by noon on Friday, Feb. 11. Cost: $10 member, $12 non-member.
  • A well-stocked display of chocolate candies, bars, and powder, including Vermont-made Champlain Chocolates and some fair-trade varieties.
  • Callebaut semi-sweet chips on sale and ready for homebaking.
  • Chocolate ice cream, frozen yogurt, and gelatos from Vermont businesses, including two that are local: Strafford Creamery at Rockbottom Farm in Strafford and Cobb Hill Farm in Hartland.
