Got Extra? Local Produce Collection Tuesday, October 5
It’s becoming a tradition at the Market to support local food pantries. Once a month throughout the growing season, we serve as a funnel between gardeners/growers and three area food shelves.
Tuesday, October 5, is this year’s final collection. If you would like to participate, you can
- bring any of your excess garden bounty to the Market on Tuesday, October 5 between 7:30 a.m. and noon, or
- make a selection in our Produce Department, pay for it at the register, and ask that it be included.
To date, we’ve sent over 200 pounds for distribution through the Sharon Congregational Church (Sharon), Journey Church (South Royalton), and Tunbridge Community Church (Tunbridge).
The food is greatly appreciated by the recipients, and your support is appreciated by the Market!
